How to Use the Weld County Jail Roster
The Sheriff does not publish a single live current roster. Public jail and custody discovery in Weld County is routed through three tools that work as a set. The first is the daily arrest report, which lists bookings into the Weld County jail by day. The second is the daily released report, which lists releases. The third is VINELink, which the Sheriff links from each arrest entry to show live custody status anywhere in Colorado.
The official daily arrest report opens at the URL above and shows the form used to filter the booking list.

The page shows the report date, the total bookings for that date, links to prior dates, and three search fields. The system covers bookings from February 14, 2006 through arrests made yesterday. The page reminds users that arrests listed are only for people booked into the Weld County jail.
- Open the Weld County daily arrest report at apps.weld.gov/sheriff/DailyArrests.
- Type a first name, a last name, or both, or pick an arrest date.
- Read the result list for the booking number, the arrest time, and the arresting agency.
- Click the VINE link next to the entry to see live custody status.
- For a release confirmation, switch to the daily released report and search by the same name.

Checking Live Custody Status with VINELink
The daily arrest report is a record of who was booked on a given day. It is not a live current roster. For live custody status, the Sheriff links each arrest entry to a person-specific VINE page. VINELink, run at vinelink.com, shows whether the person is still in custody anywhere in Colorado. It also lets a user register for alerts by phone, email, or SMS for release, transfer, or escape events.

VINELink uses a state selector, a name search, and a notification registration block. A user picks Colorado first, then types a name. The portal is JavaScript-heavy. If a search returns nothing, the person may be in another county, a state prison, federal custody, or already released.
What the Daily Arrest Report Is and Is Not
The arrest report shows people booked into the Weld County jail. It is a flow record, not a population census. A person can be missing from the arrest report yet still be in custody on a hold from a prior day. The Sheriff page tells users to check VINE for a current custody read and to check CoCourts for real-time case status, including convictions. The Sheriff also points users to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation for a record of all Colorado arrests for a person.
The arrest report is not a federal locator. Federal arrests by the U.S. Marshals, ICE, the DEA, or the FBI may not appear on the Weld feed. Out-of-state holds appear only if the person was booked into Weld County jail on a fugitive warrant. Sealed records and juvenile records are limited by Colorado law and do not appear on the public feed.
Note: arrest records are public information, but an arrest is not a conviction; all persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in court.
Weld County Bail and Bond Basics
The Weld County Jail page lists cash and surety as the two most common bond types. To post a cash bond, the user must bring cash or a cashier's check. Cashier's checks and money orders must be payable to the Weld County Sheriff's Office. The Combined Courts Clerk's Office at 915 10th Street takes turn-ins between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., ground floor east end. Court information runs through (970) 475-2400, with 0 for an operator.
Personal recognizance bonds, called PR bonds, do not need cash. The court sets PR conditions and pretrial supervision based on the charge and the risk screen. Some warrants are no-bond. Most felony arrests start with a bond hearing the next business day. The released report often shows the bond clearance value, which explains why the person left custody. Common values include CASH ONLY, CASH/SURETY, PR, and RESOLVED.
Visitation Rules at the Weld County Jail
The Weld County Jail transitioned from Securus to ViaPath for inmate communications. As of March 5, 2024, inmates use tablets for messaging, phone calling, video visits, and mail scanning. Personal visitations are video and tablet based. The jail also handles professional visitation in person; professional visitors are expected to wear appropriate attire and be well groomed when they conduct business at the jail.
The Weld Jail public page lists the rules but does not publish a fixed personal visitation hour grid in the captured text. The table below shows the visit types and current providers. Callers should confirm the live window with the jail or with ViaPath.
| Visit Type | Provider / Location | Schedule |
|---|---|---|
| Personal video / tablet visit | ViaPath | Confirm current schedule with the jail or ViaPath; tablets began March 5, 2024. |
| Professional visitation | Weld County Jail, 2110 O Street | In-person; appropriate attire and grooming expected. |
| Mail scanning | ViaPath / jail mail system | Mail screened before digital delivery to the inmate. |
Weld County Inmate Mail and Books Rules
Mail to a Weld County inmate is sent to the inmate's name, Weld County Jail, 2110 O Street, Greeley, CO 80631. Mail is screened before digital delivery. Mail without a return address is not opened and is returned to the post office. The prohibited mail list is long. It includes food or snacks, stamped envelopes or stamps, construction paper, newspapers, magazines, items with glitter, clippings or glue, and cards with paper inserts or pop-out items.
Two policy changes drive much of the current mail rule. As of February 2024, the jail no longer accepts books shipped into the facility. As of March 5, 2024, inmates moved to ViaPath tablets, which handle messaging and mail scanning. Postage-paid envelopes and larger envelopes may be purchased through commissary. Indigent inmates, defined as those with a balance less than the current postage rate for 30 or more straight days, receive one free envelope per week.
Commissary, Money on Books, and Access Corrections
An inmate account is opened when the inmate arrives at the Weld County Jail. Money on the account pays for medical visits and commissary. Commissary stocks items the jail does not issue, such as playing cards, snacks, portable radios, and deodorant. Jail employees cannot accept cash or personal checks for inmate deposits. Four deposit channels are accepted, and three of them are run through Access Corrections.

The accesscorrections.com portal handles 24/7 online deposits with a $4 Access SecureDeposits fee. The lobby kiosk at the jail takes cash 24/7, no bills larger than $1 accepted, with the same $4 fee. The phone option runs 24/7 at 1-866-345-1884 and takes debit and credit cards. Money orders by mail go to the jail address; the inmate name should appear in the for or remarks line.
Weld County Inmate Phones and ViaPath
Inmates use phones and tablets through ViaPath. The Sheriff jail page also references a prepaid AdvancePay account through ConnectNetwork, which lets an inmate call a phone number using deposited funds. Users can create the AdvancePay account and add funds through ConnectNetwork. Staff do not relay messages. For an emergency message, a caller can ask the jail for an on-duty commander; emergency messages must be verified before delivery.
Note: ViaPath fees, call rates, and video visit pricing change; check the current ViaPath portal before adding funds.
Federal and Colorado State Inmates
The Weld County jail roster only covers people booked into the Weld County jail. People in federal custody are searched through the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator at bop.gov/inmateloc. The BOP page supports search by BOP register number, DCDC number, FBI number, INS number, or by name with optional race, age, and sex. People in state prison custody are searched through the Colorado Department of Corrections at colorado.gov/locate-inmate or the main CDOC site. A felony sentence to CDOC, a transfer, or parole status will not show on the Weld feed.
